Standing with our brethren in the Philippines as they preach the gospel and plant New Testament churches.
The Lord has given Providence Baptist Church a burden for His work in the Philippines. For years we have stood with faithful Baptist missionaries and churches there through prayer, giving, and fellowship — and even our children, through the Little Soldiers for Christ, have sent offerings to missionaries in the Philippines.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20). We count it a privilege to have a part in that commission halfway around the world.
In the spring of 2014 our pastor traveled to Fuga Island in the Philippines to visit New Berea Baptist Church and its pastor, Bro. Emmanuel “Manney” Adonay — by van, fishing boat, and carabao cart, with a three-hour walk to the Arinya mission point. These are his photos, with his own captions from the trip.
